Q. I have a relative that was killed during the Siege of Petersburg.  How can I find out if he        is buried in Blandford Cemetery?

Q. What are the hours of operation of Blandford Church and do I need reservations?

A. The operating hours are from 10 am to 5 pm daily.  The first tour starts at 10 am and the         last one at 4 pm.  The tours last for approximatley 45 minutes. Reservations are not                required.

Q. The Church is so lovely and has such a beautiful history, it would seem like a wonderful        place to be married.  Is that possible?

Q. If when visiting Petersburg, are there any other sites to see while in the area?

   The Petersburg National Battlefield is close by, also the Fort Lee Army Quartermaster            Museum and Pamplin Civil War Historical Park.

Q. At sometime in the past I purchased a sun catcher or other item from the Blandford gift  shop and this item was lost or destroyed in our move to another state.  How can I find a replacement?

Q.  The Blandford Windows are so beautiful.  When we were there several years ago they had no post cards to display or purchase.  Do they have such items now?

A.  Yes, they have post cards and booklets that display all the windows plus numerous other items that show the church and cemetery to include books, pillows, throws, sun catchers and the like.

Q.  Petersburg is known as the "Cockade City of the Union" because of their involment in the war of 1812 and the rosette that the troops wore on their hats.  Is there an item for purchase that might display the Cockade or Rosette?

A.  Not to my knowledge at this time.  There is however a full uniform from that period on display at the Blandford Church reception center which includes the hat with rosette attached.
